About
I’ve made my living for the last twenty years in a brick-and-mortar video store. Little tykes who used to buy candy from me by standing on tiptoe to reach the counter and hand me quarters from their sticky little fingers are now bringing their own toddlers to the store. However, circumstances change and “the world moves on”. Now the point has come where the income from the store is just not enough to live on. The building has deteriorated so that it’s almost impossible to conduct business in it.
I find myself in the position of looking for a new career. Because I like computers (usually) and through a process of elimination, I’ve settled on “making a living online”.
That covers about as much territory as “making a living offline”. Obviously, we’ll have to narrow that down a bit.
Therein lies the purpose of this blog. It’s an exloration of a huge frontier called “Cyberspace” … wandering around, searching for a nice comfortable place to settle down, and making “maps” as I go. (Sort of like Lewis & Clark!)
I’d like to invite you to come along. It should be an interesting trip.
